I, too, loved and cherished Jannie as one of my closest friends during our high school years. Jannie, as I knew her, was one of my two dearest friends in highschool. Although we lost touch during the college years, as many do, I'd always missed that closest of friendships that we had. I was lucky enough, thanks to the internet, to be able to reconnect with her about the time of our 40th class reunion, but had been unable to go to it and missed my only opportunity to see her again.
