Not sure what to say?

I only met Mrs. Voss once or twice, but I loved reading her comments on Joe's and Jen's FB walls. Actually, her comments to them were some of my favorite FB moments. Her love for her family, the way she shaped the beautiful people they are, is a testament to who she was.

I sat on the Board at Catholic Human Development Office when Jan was the Director of Social Justice for the Grand Rapids Diocese. We interacted often and I found her to be a compassionate advocate for the poor. Eternal rest grant on her Oh Lord and let Perpetual Light shine on her.

Joe and children,
My prayers are with you.Jan was my first boss in the U.S.She was smart, generous, a great leader and a dear friend.

I will miss Jan so much, she and Joe have been with me at Breton Woods almost from the start...she was not only a beautiful woman inside and out but a wonderful Christ-like woman.

She was so insightful, she helped everyone, more than she will ever know. I appreciated her coming to see my husband in his time of need, and i will never forget that. She was a ray of sunshine with everyone. And great sense of humor not matter whose sense that was! She will be missed, dearly.

Uncle Joe, joey and Jon, So very sorry to hear about Aunt Janet. What a wonderful Aunt she was. Always doing kind things and making everyone smile. Gary and I will miss her so. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

She was the best Aunt! Always doing something nice. I just received a nice card from her the previous day. Gary and I will always remember how kind and lovingly fun she was. We will miss her so..Denise and Gary

May God bless and keep your family strong. Im sorry for your loss my brothers..

Dear Joe: This is Teresa (Anderson) Smith whom you hired at St. Mary's Pathology in 1974 and I worked there 23 years. I am so sorry to hear of Jan's passing. I have thought about the two of you so many times and wondered how you both were doing. Anne and I use to baby sit the two boys (men now I see). How time passes us by. My deepest sympathy in your loss. My husband of 29 years and I live in Traverse City now for 15 years. e-mail address [email protected]
