Janet D. Walsh, 60, of Hernando, Florida, formerly of Lincoln, Rhode Island, an administrative assistant for the superintendent of schools in Pawtucket for 23 years before her retirement in 1999, died at the home of her daughter in Lincoln on Sunday, October 21, 2001. Calling hours are scheduled for Wednesday, October 24, 2001, 5-8 p.m., at Bellows-Falso Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, October 25, 9 a.m., at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, 10 a.m., at St. Jude Church, Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will be at Rhode Island Veteran Cemetery, Exeter, Rhode Island. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to Hospice Care of Rhode Island, Box H, Annex Station, Providence, RI 02901. Arrangements entrusted to Bellows-Falso Funeral Chapel, Lincoln, Rhode Island.

We've known you Jan 33 years since Karen & Scott were born on the same day just two hours appart. You were a wonderful mother; just look at your four children!!! And you certainly were an inspiration to all who knew you, especially during this past year. Unless we've"walked in someone shoes" we can only immagine how difficult it must have been for you to carry on as you did, always with a positive attitude. How fortunate you were, as George always says,that God sent those two special...
