Jan was the oldest daughter of my beloved Aunt Dode.&, of course, my first cousin. I have a wonderful photo of Jan, and her daughter, Martha, with my Mother, Kathryne Oram Diss, at our home in Beachwood, Ohio. "Unc" was Jan´s loving term for my father, Albert Bryce Diss.
