Dear Dr. Weigel,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I am sorry that I was unable to attend her service, although I had planned on it, but circumstances prevented me from doing so.. My thoughts of Janet are reflected back to her volunteering in the E.D. 41 years ago. I loved her humor and her contagious laugh. She was a beautiful person. My condolences to the entire family. I remember Mrs. Weigel as a very sweet, gentle woman with a great sense of humor. I always appreciated her warm smile and interest she would show when I would return to Pine Street which unfortunately has not been much of late. I pray that you will have a special time together as a family this weekend remembering her legacy of a live well-lived and celebrating her faith in Jesus Christ!
