Not sure what to say?

Condolences to your family. When I think of teachers that made a difference in my life, I think of Janet Wentz. An amazing teacher who loved her subject and cared about her students.

I join with all the others who have shared here in sending condolences to your family over this extraordinary lady & teacher. I had her for comp & speech in 1967-68. Because of her teaching, I am still conscious to not say "Ta, fer, or becuz!" Also because of her, my college speech course was a breeze! She was one of the greats. May the peace that goes deeper than our understanding flood your souls.

Mrs.Wentz was a superb and memorable teacher. I used her methodology for both composition and speech in my college classes with great success. Extending my condolences to Doug and family

I had Mrs Wentz in high school for Comp and Speech. She was an awesome teacher, always going above and beyond. She was always very encouraging and supportive, bringing out the best in even the most timid of speakers. I will never forget the lessons that she taught me. Rest in peace, sweet lady. You were the kind of teacher that all should strive to be. Deb Hall, Wellsville, PA

One of my favorite teachers. Mrs. Wentz was a great influence and inspired students to excel. Condolences to the family.

I've never known another teacher who influenced my life the way Janet Wentz did! I coached speech and debate for almost 40 years trying to uphold the standards that she taught me. Her enthusiasm for writing and speaking made me a better teacher and person.

Mrs.Wentz was a very special teacher !

I spent over 19 years in school, including college and graduate school, and Mrs. Wentz was one of my favorite and best teachers. I drew on what I learned from her during my whole career as a professional filmmaker and later my second career as an adjunct college professor. Her creativity and genuine love for her students and teaching were characteristics I aspired to emulate, though I rarely reached her level. I´m so glad she was able to live a long and fulfilling life. She will be...

Mrs. Wentz was my favorite teacher in high school. She encouraged me to hone my communications and speechwriting skills and taught me the value of a good editor. I've now had a more than 30-year career in communications, working as an editor, a writer, a journalist, a director of communications, and a director of public relations. Thank you, Mrs. Wentz! I'll never forget you.
