The Wilder family mourns the loss of their beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Janet Wilder (née Schiff) who died November 16, 2021. Janet was born March 10, 1935, the only child of European immigrants. Janet and her parents worked tirelessly in a family-owned grocery store in West Philadelphia, where Janet first developed her lifelong work ethic. Janet became a young widow with two daughters following the passing of her husband Arnold Haberman. Soon after, she met, fell in love, and married Gilbert Wilder, a young widower with two sons. Together they became the "Wilder Bunch" family of six. In addition to raising four children, Janet worked a variety of jobs including crossing guard, receptionist in a doctor's office, and administrative assistant in a funeral home. Janet's sense of humor and infamous sarcasm will be missed by all who knew her.
Predeceased by husband Gilbert and daughter Stacey (Bud); beloved mother of Faith (Thomas), Adam (Caren), and Robert (Anne). Cherished grandmother to Andrew, Hope (John), Gordon, Caleigh, Alexa (Nathan), Dalton, Brent, and Sarah. Great-grandmother of Joey. Mommy of her beloved dog, Lilly.
Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Friday, Nov. 19, 9:00 AM precisely, GODLSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton PA 18966. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
Donations in her memory can be made to The Federation of Neighborhood Centers (www.fncphilly.org), Michael J. Fox Foundation (https://www.michaeljfox.org/), or Fox Chase Cancer Center (www.foxchase.org).

Thanks for your friendship and support. You and Gil made it much easier to cope with caring for my brother. You were always so much fun to be with. You will be truly missed.
