My mother, Mary Purtell Huebsch, and Bernadine Purtell (Janet's sister) were sisters-in-law and best friends. Over the years, I have had several occasions to visit with Aunt Janet, as she was lovingly known. She was a warm and lovely lady, full of charm and wisdom. She laughed easily and I always felt so very comfortable around her. I enjoyed talking with her about family. She was very wise in many ways. I knew Jan for many years when I had the pleasure of working w/ her husband, Jim, at Grunau Proj. Development. We had many fun parties/dinners together, and a lot of laughs. Although I haven't seen her or Jim in several years, I think of them often. My prayers are with the family at this difficult time.
