Not sure what to say?

The 50 years that Mrs. Ferguson was our neighbor and dear friend of my mom have left many warm memories of one of the sweetest and kindest ladies ever known. Her skills in the world of music were equally matched in raising her sons to be fine men. She blessed this world in so many ways and will sorely missed by those who knew her. It was our family's honor to have been counted as her friend.

Mrs. Ferguson will always be remembered for her extraordinary talents and never ending encouragement. My fond memories of piano lessons and recitals with Mrs. Ferguson will live on, all thanks to her amazing ability to teach piano. My sincere condolences to the Ferguson family. She was a one-of a kind soul and is now in a much better place, singing and joyfully rejoicing with the angels.

I have so many wonderful childhood memories of my piano lessons and recitals with Mrs. Ferguson. She influenced so many lives through her love of music and teaching. I am blessed to have known Mrs. Ferguson.

Yesterday my sisters and I attend the service for Mrs. Ferguson. It was a beautiful tribute to her and the large turn-out emphasized how many lifes she touched. As a child growing up on Jamul Ave., I will always have fond memories of her love for children and her kindness to all.

To the Ferguson Family: I am so sorry for your loss and that I couldn't attend the services. I grew up across the street at 144 Jamul, and knew Janette and her family since I was 4 years old. Ronnie, John Houge and I were the Three Musketeers and got into lots of mischief! Janette was always the neighborhood cutie, with that ponytail swinging when she walked. She taught me piano in the 60's and made me feel so talented! I'll always remember the Therle Music Festival in Balboa Park. ...

Janette you are a wonderful lady. Beautiful soul. I will miss you , everyone at the woman's club will miss you. You did so many helpful things
You will never be forgotten

Will Always Remember You. What a wonderful Person you are. And Will Always Remember You. Love Jim And Frances James.

Janette was instrumental in bringing scholarships to Palomar High School - a school for "at risk" students. It was amazing to see the difference in our kids when they earned a scholarship. It increased their self esteem, confidence and determination. Many went on to graduate from some of the nation's most prestigious colleges. Janette made a difference - a big difference!!
Thank you from Palomar High School.

I took piano lessons from Mrs. Ferguson from ages 5-15. She was always so encouraging, helpful, motivational, wonderful... the words to describe this great woman are endless. I will always be thankful to her for helping me begin a lifetime of playing music, first on piano, and now on horn. My warmest thoughts go to her family. I am so sorry for your loss.
