Not sure what to say?

My sweet, wonderful friend Jani - so glad we had 30 years of knowing each other, we had so much fun working together. She was an amazing person, taken much too early. My prayers are with Jim and their sons along with Jani's parents and siblings.

Jim, I am so sorry to hear about Jani's passing. My deepest condolences and prayers to you and your family. I knew Jani both at Oregon State and our early days working in Portland. Jani was always very positive and happy person and I have very fond memory's of our time together rafting, camping and hanging out with our friends in our 20's. Jim, I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Jani's bigger than life smile. Tom Yragui

Jani, The day was always better with you stopping in. Such a light hearted girl with an ease of contagious laughter. Life seems unfair with such a loss. Thank you for being such a sweet friend. ~April

Jim, I'm so sorry to hear of your Jani's passing! My prayers and positive thoughts are heading your way. I only met her once (at Kathy and Bob's Seaside beach house) very briefly, but she was a real ray of sunshine. I hope your memories of her will comfort you and be a blessing. With deepest sympathy to you and your family, Kristin and Rex Turner (cousins)

I met sweet Jani in January of 2022 when Ronica and I, ("the dynamic duo") as Jim named us, began caregiving for her for 2 days a week. I felt a connection immediately with Jani. As the months went by, and It became difficult for her to communicate, I felt comfort in knowing I still knew what she was saying through eye contact. She was a special, fun lady whom I will always hold close to my heart. You will be missed, but never forgotten. I thank you for the new friendships I have found...

Jani was such a special person and so much fun. I will miss her terribly.

I am sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose someone that you love dearly especially from a disease like ALS. I lost my wife of 50 years to the disease on July 31, 2021. I hope and pray that you have all the support you need to get through this difficult time. My faith and my congregation of Brothers and Sisters has so helped me during this difficult time. If you would like to talk, please reach out to me at: 360-834-6871. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. With all...

Oh Jani, So many wonderful memories of our time together at OSU. You were that kind of friend that no one can find in a lifetime but I am blessed to have you as a wonderful friend and AXO sister. You were the ray of sunshine in the darkest moments. I will always cherish our friendship! Love you so so much! Doreen
