Not sure what to say?

On behalf of Janice's cousin, Roger E. Cooper of Athens, Ga and his daughter, Juanita, of Charlotte, NC, we send our heartfelt condolences and loving prayers to the family of Mrs. Janice H. Ashley. What a joy to keep, a lasting memory to cherish and a legacy to follow of someone who lived their life teaching and giving to others.

It is impossible not to feel the pain from losing her and impossible not to feel the joy from knowing her. Both remind me of the void she leaves. She was a light in this dark world. She demonstrated a life well lived. Precious Lord, thank you for giving her to us all. Rest in perfect peace Mrs. Ashley.

Cassandra and Ricanthony, know that your mother's love will always be with you. Mr. Ashley, may the peace that only God can give comfort you and keep you. I grew up in Montrose, and Mrs. Ashley's parents were parents to me all summer long for many years. I have fond memories of picking peas and taking them to the market in Macon, and going to Starlight on Sundays! My prayers are with you.

To The Family Of Mrs. Janice Ashley, You Are In My Thoughts and Prayers In Her Passing. She Treated Me and My 2 Older Cousins with Such Sweet Compassion! When Grief Comes Around Remember To Read The Word of God For Comfort and Strength!

Mrs. Ashley was my homeroom teacher for two years at Lawrence Central but she was so much more than that to me. Through her compassion, class and encouragement she would soon become my second mom. Simply put, she was a beautiful person who will be missed by so many.

Janice was a beautiful person both inward and outward. She made an impression on everyone she met. She was loved by many. We are sorry to see her go but relieved that she no longer suffers.
