Paul, I am so sorry for your loss and know that she will be missed. I always respected and supported the work you both have done at PP so I hope it gives you some peace to know that she made a difference to so many women. Paul Angel

Mary and family, My sympathies to you and your family. Jan went to school with my sister, Lindra Copley Bicksler. God bless you.

Jan was a beautiful human being both inside and out. She was a dearest friend to me and to our family when we moved to Shaker Heights. Jan and I spent many joyous hours together with our children. Jan believed strongly in causes that compassionately helped people. I always admired her for the strength of her convictions and her passion for life. My heart breaks for her husband Paul and for her children, Jodi and Chris, and their families. Jan´s loss is a loss for them, for all of her loved...

Jan is Mom to one of my best friends, Jodi... I met her as a college student and remember how she opened her home to us for a weekend of good food, warm comfortable beds & the laughter of college students. Jan fit right in with us! She enjoyed our presence as if she was one of the girls! She was always caring & warm-hearted. I remember her with so much affection & love. Jodi is blessed to have her as a Mom, Ethan & Elliot blessed to have her as a Grandma. She made the world a better place...

Jan was such a wonderful champion for justice and a strong role model for me. She was often willing to share stories and offer suggestions- even filling in the blanks when I faced decisions influenced by events in the past. What a beautiful life she lived and legacy she has left us all. Sending my love to Paul and the family. I hope your memories are holding you all close at this time.
