I have loved you from the day I learned of you. I have searched for you for years. I never knew your name, but I knew you existed. My eyes are filled with tears and my heart is broken as I learned of your passing. If only I had tried harder. I could've, should've, would've... We never had a formal introduction, just a glance and a smile from a distance, approximately 50 years ago.I don't know if you knew who I was, but I knew who you were.
