Read MoreThere just aren't words for how Aunt Pete lived in all of us. I will always hold dear when Janice took Aunt Pete and my mama(Mary K) to a casino in Tupelo, MS....they were both pushing 90 then! I loved hearing the stories of their adventures while all the kids were in school.

I remember you all when we were neighbors in Roanoke. I have often wondered about you and your Mom. I send my condolences for her passing. 97 years old! What a great life she lived. I would love to hear from you.

I will always remember her laughter and the best hugs. I'm sure she and Mama Piedmont are checking out the white sales 'cuz they'll be needing lots of new things in heaven. I have no doubt that Aunt Pete is organizing a chorus line to entertain all those who have been waiting for her.
