I was sorry to read about Jan's passing. I am a retired Lake Villa Dist. 41 teacher who also enjoyed "going fishing" with my cohorts including Jan's good friend, Lenore on Fridays after school.

I am so sorry to hear that Jan passed away. We shared a unique friendship. We never met but my husband and I worked with Hal and he talked about her all the time. My husband died shortly after Hal and Jan reached out to me. We corresponded for many years and became friends. She missed Hal deeply and I can understand why because he was a wonderful man. I wish you many fond memories of them both. My deepest sympathies.
