Not sure what to say?

Dear Ann and David, We were so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. I have very fond memories of her (and your dad) over these many years. Truly a kind, caring and loving soul! With sympathy, Bob Archibald

Jan and Dick were such great, long time friends of my parents, as well, and Jan was one of the very few people who knew me since I was a baby! I was so glad to get to know her even better over the last several years. I'll never forget her bringing me flowers on at least a few birthdays, dropping in at my clinic while I was doing paperwork by myself, and just making my day! She was so kind, and always thinking of others before herself, even in her last few weeks. I will sorely miss...

I feel so fortunate to have known Jan. She was my mentor when I went to Metzger to teach kindergarten in 1982. Jan was kind and patient and such a happy person. She loved what she did. After she retired she became one of my favorite subs for my class. Love you, Jan

A sad loss of a wonderful, longtime friend. Jan and Dick did so much for those of us fortunate to have known them over the years. Many good memories to cherish. A find farewell

Your mom and dad were such good friends with my parents Bob and Carolyn. And after mom died Dick and Jan helped fill in part of the giant hole left behind in my dad's life. In the years since your Dad died dad kept up his friendship with Jan. What a wonderful group of lifelong friends they shared. I am so very sorry for your loss.

So sad to hear of Jan´s passing. She was a wonderful friend, so caring, giving and fun. I will miss her deeply.

Mrs. Conklin was my kindergarten teacher at Metzger Elementary, and I still remember her as the sweetest, most kind hearted teacher I ever had. She had such a calming presence for us little ones and I still remember her gentle voice. What an amazing impact she had on so many children throughout the years. Thank you for all your love and care, Mrs. Conklin.
