Jackson - Dr. Janice Elaine Lewis Duncan, 76, passed away on January 29, 2018, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS surrounded by close family.
Visitation is today from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Jackson Memorial Funeral Service (601-969-9457). Services will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Pearl Street A.M.E. Church, 2519 Robinson Street Jackson, MS 39209 with burial to follow at Natchez Trace Cemetery in Madison, MS.
Dr. Janice Duncan is survived by her two daughters Dr. Jan Duncan of Tyler, Texas and Ms. Natille Duncan of Jackson, Mississippi.

Dr. Duncan was an amazing woman of intelligence, style and grace. I feel so lucky to have known her (Sociology/HCC). Throughout the years we would see each other while shopping. Recently I met Dr. Duncan through Natille (former coworker). Dr. Duncan and I embraced with a smile. May the memories in your heart help to soothe you. May the memories give you strength.
