Janice Teresa Hepple Eddy, age 60, of Lumberton, NC died on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton.  She was born in Baltimore, MD on December 16, 1963 to the late Pauline Virginia Hailey Cundiff. In addition to her mother, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Neal Eddy; her father, Roy Cundiff; her brother, Thomas Hepple; and her aunt, Shirley Hepple.
 
Janice retired from Robeson County Social Services. Her hobbies included playing “Monopoly-Go” with family and friends, spending time with her family, traveling, enjoying nature, and gardening. She especially enjoyed raising chickens. Janice was a member at East Lumberton Baptist Church, Lumberton, NC.


Janice is survived by sons, Joshua Gilligan and wife, Jacqueline, and Christopher Eddy and wife, Amanda, of St. Pauls; daughter, Tiffani Eddy of Matthews, NC; and grandchildren, Emma-Lee Eddy, Reagan Eddy, Phenyx Eddy, Annabelle Eddy, Brielle Eddy, Izzabelle Eddy, Zaryelle Eddy-Forbes, Nicole Ward (Hunter), Anthony Watkins, Jr., Catrina Britt (Lonnie) Aubree Hepple, Archer Bryan, Baylee Bryan, Kenadee Bryan; great-granddaughter, Lillian Britt; brother; Joseph Hepple, Jr.; niece, Amber Hepple, cousin, Eva Hepple; and many family and close friends.
 
Visitation will take place prior to the service on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 11:45 AM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton. Following the visitation, the funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM in the chapel. Rev. Michael Bowen will officiate the service.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to be made toward Janice’s final expenses in care of Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton, NC, 28358.

Janice was my daughter-in-law. She was a true Christian, and saw the best in others. God, please reunite her with her husband Bobby. Our Washington family offers deepest condolences to the North Carolina family.

We have beautiful, sweet memories of Janice. We pray God's comfort and sweet blessings to be upon her family who she loved so much !
