Not sure what to say?

Janice had a love of international business. I served as President of the NC World a Trade Association and Janice was Vice President. She soon became the president and did a fantastic job. She opened the door so everyone could get a driver license no matter the immigration status. A tremendous lady, we will miss her

Ms. Faulkner was my instructor for a few classes at ECU in the mid to late 70's. She solidified my decision to become a teacher. I have spoken about her to many others throughout the years about the positive impact she had on my life as I too was raised in a rural setting and the struggles that come with that. She made such a difference in my life. Great role model for many "PIRATES"!

My husband and I knew Janice as a fellow faculty member. One humorous thing I remember is when she brought James Dickey to a concert in Wright Auditorium the day prior for him to speak. He and she set near us, and remember him saying " will this many people be at my speech" as he was terrified because of the large audience. Had Mrs Faulkner for a folklore class at ECU in the early 80s. Wonderful teacher and true Southern lady! Arrrgh!!!

Janice gave me an autographed photo of John Kennedy, taken when he was campaigning in Greenville. I still have it and treasure it. My parents Dr. and Mrs. F. R Adams were fond of her. She had a lot of energy and focus.

I was a student of hers in 1959. Great teacher. Always remember she kept a pair of heels in her drawer for class, and took them off after it was over Trudy Sutton

Enjoyed working with Janice. She was so talented and caring. Always loved and cared for those around her. Very dedicated to every cause. Regards. Shirley Fowler

I worked for the Secretary of State when Ms. Faulkner was there. She had to be the most cordial and understanding Secretary I have seen. I really admired her a great deal. She will be missed.
