Not sure what to say?

Our deepest sympathy to Muriel and the family. We were shocked to hear about Janice, it is just hard to believe. Our girls felt really close to Janice and we will all miss her so much. We are down in Arizona or we would have been at the funeral.

I met Janice only a couple of times back in 1998 whilst I was visiting my best friend Kim. Over the past few years I have been kept up to date on all the girlie weekends and various get togethers. I felt as if I really knew Janice and was deeply shocked to hear of her sad passing. I just wanted to send my deepest sympathies to all her family and friends, hold onto those great times you had together.

I was deeply saddened when I learned of Janice’s passing. I played softball against, and with, Janice and Diane. The Nelsons were a very close-knit family. I remember Mr. and Mrs. Nelson always at our games cheering us on. Janice was the best little catcher I ever saw. In the years I played softball, those were the best years - good friends, good times, good memories. When I think of Janice, it brings a smile to my face. I will remember Janice’s sense of humour, ready smile, loyalty,...

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of Janice's family and friends.

I was very saddened to read of Janice's passing. I still have many fond memories of playing softball against the Nelsons and later coaching the girls in New Westminster. Janice and Diane were such good role models displaying great sportsmanship and always giving 100 percent. I imagine this to be how they both continued to live their lives.

My sincerest condolences go to Diane and Mrs. Nelson and Janice's husband and kids. Janice was a tremendous "team player" and I know she...
