Not sure what to say?

Janice was my clinical specialist and mentor when I first became an ICU nurse back in 1990. She continued to be a colleague and friend all through the years when we both went back to school to become Advance Practice Nurses. I always looked forward to her Christmas Cards when she would write end of the year updates in her life. I am heartbroken to find out about her passing. I will miss her dearly but at peace she is with the Lord.

My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Janice was the best next-door neighbor anyone could hope for; she was always feeding the squirrels and many cats that found their way into her yard. Janice wore her faith on her sleeves, even inviting me to Midnight Mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Newark and she wasn't even Catholic. Jan and I shared years of rewarding experiences as nurses at St. Michael's and she will always be in my memories. She was among the best nurses I have ever known. I am grateful that we were able to share an evening together recently.

I extend my sincere condolences to Ethelyn and her extended family. Janice will be greatly missed.

Jan was the ultimate go to person with any medical questions: just like asking a Dr. She truly LOVED nursing-took such great care of her practice patients with such dedication and compassion. Even after retiring she continued to help people in her church with medical care. She just was a good person, cared about people. I know she will be sorely missed by her sister
