Not sure what to say?

Dear Gayle, Julie, Todd, and families,
I was sure sorry to hear of your mom’s death and was sorry to miss the Memorial Service. My parents shared the printed program with me.

I am grateful to be one of the many, many people who your mom influenced. I fondly remember her joy, passion to teach children to respect themselves and others, love of music and SHOES , and willingness for the neighborhood kids to play in her yard!

I have been praying for all of you to know...

– Sending sympathy to family of Janice Gardner for unforgettable mother-- making memories and making life better for others.

Janice had a profound influence on my life. She introduced me to the arts. Several times she bought tickets to concerts or plays and took me with her. She encouraged me to go to college. I admired her greatly.

My deepest sympathies and hugs with my heart to Gayle, Julie and Todd Janice was larger than life and I have the fondest memories with this entire family, and “Solo”, their German Shepard. Dr. Jack and Janice bought my grandmothers house that was right across the road from our farm. I was their nanny when the children were little. Went with them to Iowa in the summer to visit Janice’s parents. Janice was not only my friend, she was a wonderful mentor. Janice will always hold a very special...

Dear Gayle, Julie and Todd,
We would like to extend our condolences and sympathy to you.
Piano lesson mom, positive contributor in the lives of thousands of students in our Fairmont and surrounding schools, fellow Motzart Marching Society member...Janice touched our lives in so many ways over the years.
Praying for you and your families.

I will always remember Mrs Gardner ( back then would never call her by her first name!) sitting on the stage of the Fairmont Youth Center in her green Girl Scout Leader uniform. She would take off her white gloves, start playing the guitar and lead all the GS of Fairmont in a SongFest. Thanks to her efforts, I started GS Songfests for the Minneapolis Lakes Girl Scout Service unit- now going on about the 15th year! She lives on in songs and good deeds

Julie and Gayle and Todd--my deepest sympathies. There's too much to say, because I would need to write a book about it. The profound influence Mrs. G (and Dr. Jack) had in my life would need more than words to express it. I will cherish the memory of the last time I saw her, after performing at the Opera House in 2015, when she stood by me in the lobby as I greeted everyone, her hand holding mine until I left for home. Love, and health, and peace to you all~

Praying for you today, dear loved ones of Janice, as you gather in her memory. I lived in Fairmont from 1878-1982, and Janice was an inspiration to me. I actually was thinking of her in June 2921 but had no idea if/where she lived. We were in several activities together: Methodist Church choir, theatre musicals, planning for the Opera House & Red Cross, worship gatherings at the nursing home. When we had our daughter in NW Minnesota, I had several times wished she could have attended Janice's...

We remember fondly our time with Grandma Janice during her stay in Arden Hills. She patiently taught us all how to crochet and was an enthusiastic and good role model to our daughters. Our condolences to you all ❤
