Janice Garman

Mrs. Jan Pond was my Girl Scout leader for eight years and the mother of my friend, Wendy. She was such a wonderful lady who guided her scouting, troop through many activities and adventures, that shaped my life in so many wonderful ways. Wendy, Chad and Carrie, I am grateful to have known your mother and I am very sorry for your loss.

What an awesome lady Jan was. Many fond memories of the summers at Lake Leann. I'll never forget the first time we watched a Michigan football game with Herb and Jan. I had no idea a little lady could yell like that!! She definitely loved her Wolverines. My sincerest condolences to her family.

We loved Aunt Jan. To this day, we can't watch a Michigan football game without thinking of her, her feisty laugh, and the way she liked to trash talk with Gary. We will hold onto our fond memories of holidays spent together, family reunions, and of our time with them in Tucson. Saying prayers for comfort and peace & sending you our love.

Jan Garman had "personality plus!" She became my realtor and sold my dad's home for us, almost instantly. She was a pleasure to know and my whole family including young kids at the time, loved to talk to her. She was simply a joy and a gift to all! God Bless her!

I worked with Jan many years ago when she was a Jackson Area Realtor. She was an upbeat person with a kind word for everyone. It has been years since I have seen her, but the obituary photo captures her personality perfectly.
