I am so sorry to hear of Jan´s passing. She was my daughter Lindsay favorite teacher. So cheerful and caring always had a kind word with a welcoming smile. Prayers go out to her family

Carl always spoke so highly of Jan. Those were special days at Cedar Crest with so many wonderful teachers. Perfect in that spot at that time with all of the others. And enhanced by Jan's care and concern for her students. The Barberi Family sends its sympathies to the Gerber family and friends.

My prayers and thoughts go out to her family. I loved Mrs. Gerber, she was my son's teacher. She was a loving person, I also volunteer in her classroom, she was a caring person, she would make sure her kids had boots,coats snowpants, shows if they didn't have any. Also had them in classroom if any forgot theirrs too. Beautiful Lady!!

Jan was such a lovely lady that touched so many lives. I had the privilege of teaching with her for many years. Prayers for the family. She will undoubtedly be so missed.

So saddened to hear of Jan's death. We taught together at Cedar Crest for many years. Since she was also an early arriver, we spent many mornings discussing education and our families. Jan blessed many first-graders with her care and love. She was exactly what many little kids needed.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Jan's Passing. I taught with her for many years. I will always remember her as a wonderful,warm,dedicated teacher. Every time I think of Jan, I will recall her kindness to me. God Bless all of you--Prayers
