Janice Smoak Godwin

I remember meeting Janice and her family at the Treehaven Apartments in which we lived many many years ago. She was the property manager and we all just loved her! Janice and I have known each other a very long time. She was my best friend as well as she became my sister-in-law. We shared a lot of good times as well as some not so good. It has been a very tough year for her. I know she is in a better place and not suffering anymore. Janice, I love you. Until we meet again!

I went to high school with Janice. I always admired her beauty and sweet smile. I moved away from North Charleston, but reconnected at a couple of High School reunions. At that time I found out that she married Paul Godwin. In talking to Paul at the reunion, he was so proud of his beautiful wife!! She became even more beautiful as she became older.
