Janice Ellen Hedblom

Jan was an amazing woman who I stayed in touch with long after I left Johns Hopkins Hospital as a Clinical Social Worker where she was chaired my department. She was such a strong, confident, firm and compassionate person and was her husband, Dr. Jack Hedblom. I always enjoyed my conversations with Jan and Jack and miss them both. Two amazing and interesting individuals who merged their lives and careers. I will miss Janice and miss Jack as well; I take comfort they are reunited again....

What a lovely photo of Jan & Masie! We first met Jan & Jack in 1965; they were interesting busy professionals & we were a young family with 3 children under 4 years. But we become friends and over the years Jan & Jack influenced us immensely; they were practically a second set of parents, sharing thoughts, experiences & holidays.
