My husband, Dan, and I had the honor of being the last couple married by Howard with Janice as our organist at Spencerville UCC. We have many fond memories of both Janice and Howard and know that there are now 2 angels in heaven watching over the Hershberger family.

As a child and teenager, I looked up to Janice and she was my "hero". I wanted to be just like her, although I fell far short of that! May God heal your hurting hearts and bring you His peace.

We so loved getting to know Janice when she and Pastor Howard lived in Spencerville. I don’t think we’ve ever met a kinder person. She was always smiling and asking about our family. Her involvement with accompanying the school choirs was something Joel appreciated. May her sweet memory comfort you at this time and always.
