Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Rippel was my favorite teacher. She was my 3rd grade teacher in Appleton. She was also so kind and mothered us. Mostly because some of us needed it because we couldn't bring our mothers to school. It was awesome to see she after I graduated and she still remember me. I live by Vergas, MN and Eagle Lake isn't that far from were I live. No wonder I like it here. So did Mrs. Rippel. She was so proud of her children and spoke of you all often in class. I think I picked up points when...

I met Jan through my sister Cathy Zinda .They were friends through the years. Jan always seemed to bring some feeling of joy, no matter the circumstance.
I loved the video showing the happy times you must have shared.

Jan and I taught in the same Appleton-Milan elementary school. She was the light of the school, always laughing, always making others laugh, including her students. The hallways were never the same after she left. So many fond memories. She clearly adored her family, and spoke of them often. She definitely earned her Angel wings, and will be spreading endless joy in heaven. God bless her wonderful family.

Buzz and Jan were friends of my parents before I was born. I have always felt so fortunate to be part of their family, especially after my mom passed away. Jan was always so good to me and treated me like her own. Thank you for sharing her with me Kerry, Tracy, and Dan! She was a wonderful person and will be missed by so many.

Our condolences to Jan's family. We wish we could attend the reception in Appleton.
We will always remember as a very caring person. Walter and Nettie always looked
forward to the cards and notes Jan sent during the holidays.

I was an aide in Jan's 3rd grade classroom for many years, & will cherish the memories. She taught me how to be patient with the many challenges there are in a classroom full of children who all want your attention.
At the end of the day we had many laughs & there were also tears at times. When the Lord calls our loved one home He leaves the gift of memories. Jan will be missed & remembered by many.
