Judi saw the obituary in the Owensboro newspaper and called me to let me know about your mom. We are both so very sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. We have fond memories of time spent with you guys in Decatur when we were young. The different houses you lived in, the walks to the store to get candy, the time our power went out from an ice storm and mom, Judi and I stayed with you guys. I was saddened to see the passing of your sweet mother. She was such a good friend to mom. Reading her obituary brought back some wonderful memories of our families. I will share the news with my sister. We still talk about that car ride we took with Kris. Love to you all.

The first time i meet jan was no walk in the park. As time went on we got to know each other, it was wonderful. Jan is a kind, sweet, loving woman. She loved herself some derby, on occasion i would bring my dog bailey for visits. I will never forget jan and derby and her kindness to me and the times we shared laughing and taking walks and conversation. Jan you are going to be missed.
