I was so sorry to hear about Jan. We worked together for a very long time. Then she brought Marge in and it was just a family time at Country Needleworks. She was just like a Mom. We were so lucky to have her. My heart goes out to the whole family. Cheryl Van Haitsma

Aunt Janice was the one who I could turn to to when the project got too difficult. Several sewing projects ended up on her table. With her skills and patience my mess of fabric became a wearable blouse or skirt! And she was the one who accompanied my clarinet pieces for solo & ensemble competitions at school.It must have taken a lot of patience on her part listening to me trying to perfect that piece of music. I enjoyed those times. The events made me nervous but it was fun being with Aunt...

I was blessed to work with Jan at Country Needleworks. She was amazing as a person and so very talented. My love and prayers are with all of her family.

Janice will always have a special place in my heart - she shared a friendship with my mom and Marian Van Zalen and they were the the "Moms " on Pete Street in Jenison. All of us kids were friends together and we went from house to house playing in each others homes and yards.She always had a craft project going on - whether sewing something for the girls or trying to make something new that was a challenge for her.
