Not sure what to say?

I was a friend classmate and club member with your mama. I am so sorry to find that she has passed. I have been looking for her phone number through my things for the past year. When Jan decided you were going to be your friend you were her friend. She was so much fun. I met her Freshman year when she invited herself to sit with me and my only two friends I had at the time as I was new to Portland. I was one of her bridesmaids. I have missed her often and will now miss her till we see...

Jan you were such a dear soul. Everyone loved you Jan. I worked with Jan at the City of Gresham all her career. Boy did her customers love her. She was such a proud mom and grandmother. She loved her family and it was such a joy hearing how she loved her girls so much. Jan I will always remember you for you Mt Dew and those chips! You were one special lady! See you in Heaven❤ Toni Cook

Jan represents my entire childhood since I was 10 and she 11. We met and then our Mothers met and became best friends and the families bonded on and on bowling, bunco, weddings, child births and on and on. We talked on the phone every day and discussed every event that happened, be it work or family. I am lost without those conversations because she always put the positive into every situation. I believe I was one of those friends that Randy leonard mentioned in his statement lol. I was...

Jan was a special one... a special friend who was always, always there for you, a special mother who cared so deeply for each of her children (and grandchildren) as individuals, a special sister to her siblings who were so important to her. I am blessed to have known Jan. Kind, thoughtful, understanding, true. Quirky too. Cherish the memories!
Those we love don't go away.
They walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near
Still loved, still...

My heart felt sympathy in the loss of your Mom. Jan was such a bright light and a delight to work with for 20 years. She was an asset to the City of Gresham team. In the last two years I have missed the "Jan-ism's" as you call them around here. Jan was such a loving and caring person to all, but most important of all is her grandchildren! She will be leave a big whole where her love used to be.

I'm so sorry to hear of Jan's passing. I worked with her at the City of Gresham and was always impressed with her unfailing positivity and kindness. She will be missed.

Jan Rosebrook and I met in the summer of 1969. I was working at the Standard Gas Station on the corner of NE Grand and Broadway when she and two of her girlfriends stopped by to see a co-worker of mine.

I can still see Jan getting out of the back seat of the car. Her beautiful brown eyes, dark hair and wonderful smile. I was instantly smitten. Jan became my first girlfriend.

Although we broke up in our senior year, we reconnected 15 years later after we'd both...

She always had a smile and a TEASE at me since since I was 15 years old, A trusted family friend all my life. Even as we aged her smile, tease and trusted friendship never faded. She definitely can't be replaced ! I will NEVER FORGET HER !
