Janice Naylor, 59, of Lancaster, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

She was born in Harlan County, Kentucky on December 8, 1955, daughter of the late Albert and Helen Smith Halcomb. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas C. Naylor Sr., two sons, Thomas Naylor Jr. & (Donna) of Broughtontown and Arthur Whitehead & (Dyella) of Harrodsburg, three daughters, Ruth Staton & (Bill) of Broughtontown, Rose Mills & (Sylvester) of Liberty, KY and Joni Lee & (Danny) of Nicholasville, KY, four brothers, Robert Halcomb & (Carolyn) of Bryantsville, KY, Hassell Halcomb & (Gail) and Albert Halcomb & (Janet), both of Nicholasville, KY and Jerry Halcomb & (Carolyn) of Stanford, KY, two sisters, Betty Turner & (Kenneth) of Cumberland, KY and Anna Houlett & (Charles) of Liberty, KY, thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Emma Land and Wanda Land.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Zion Church of Christ Cemetery in Crab Orchard, KY.

Visitation will be after 11 AM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
