Mrs. Pono was born on October 29, 1939 and passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017. Mrs. Pono was a resident of Rhode Island at the time of passing. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday (MORNING) July 5th from 8-10:15am at the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: RI Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave., Providence, RI 02907.
Sorry to hear of my cousin, Janice (Capobianco) Pono's passing. She will be missed dearly. She was a wonderful woman. I am unable to come to the service and mass.
