Janice and I go way back to the days when our sons were in grade school together. We met at a school function and hit it off immediately. We shared so many fun times together as single moms raising those boys who have all grown up to be fantastic men. I am so saddened that we lost touch during these past few years. I would love to have been able to tell her how much her friendship meant to me.

Janice was such a vibrant and generous person with a great sense of humor. She was a delight to work with at the Lake Oswego Public Library and she was famous for her decadent cakes (often incorporating her favorite spirits). I will never forget her absolute joy over becoming a grandmother.
