Not sure what to say?

Ten years have gone by already! I still remember Jan so fondly. Such a generous soul and gracious woman. I'm sure she and Marv are enjoying the afterlife to the max! ❤

Jan has been a colleague and friend for 39 years. We started teaching together at Mariner High School and sometime team taught in drama. I remember an especially fun cast party after a production of one-acts where we wrote parodies and played theatre games long into the night until we accidentally called the volunteer fire department out of their snug beds and brought them to the school at 4 in the morning on a false alarm because a frisbee thrown in the commons had hit a fire alarm. We had...

"Mrs. Seferos" was my favorite Mariner High School history teacher (despite having made me stand in the hallway once....) and one of my favorite Zeta Tau Alpha alumnae sisters. I will miss reconnecting with her each Spring at Zeta Day.

Condolences to her family and her beloved "50s" Zeta sisters....

I taught with Jan at Mariner for many years and we shared many funny moments. She was always the one to have get togethers at holiday times and keep everyone in touch with each other. She will be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Jan at Mariner High School for 12 years and have remained friends with her ever since I left in 1991. She was excellent at keeping in touch with letters back then and more recently with email -- always sending nice cards and funny jokes. On January 30, 2010 she hosted what started out as just a simple lunch to welcome me home from Romania, turned into a fantastic Mariner High School staff reunion party with over 50 friends attending! I'll remember her...

I receintly connected with Jan at Betty Hill's memorial in December. We exchanged emails and corosponded often, Easter being the last time. We got caught up on the 33 years that have passed since having her as my Humanities teacher. She was one of my favorite teachers, I enjoyed being her teacher's aid in 1977. I was so shocked to read of her passing this morning. My condolences to the whole family. Jan was a special person who touched my life in a positive way.

Mrs. Seferos was my Humanities teacher at Mariner High School during the 1979-80 school year. Just a few weeks ago, we reconnected on Facebook. She wrote me a kind and warm message, stating that maybe we could meet for lunch and catch each other up on our lives. I was stunned to read this announcement and send my condolences to your family at this sad time. Please know that Jan positively impacted many people during her life and that is truly a great legacy.
