Janice Smith

SMITH, Janice – Of Flint, age 59, died Friday, October 7, 2022.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.

Cremation will take place following the service.

Visitation 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Janice was born in Flint, Michigan on January 19, 1963 the daughter of the late Omeda Van Landuyt and Elizabeth Owens.

On February 15, 1992 she married Al Smith.

Janice had a big heart and a beautiful soul. She helped many in her life, opened her home to everyone she loved.

Janice was a mom, a sister, an aunt or grandma to everyone she met. She will be missed by many.

Surviving are husband, Al;

her love, Carrie;

son, Jayson;

daughter, Valeen;

5 grandchildren;

3 sisters and 3 brothers.
