How saddened all of us in the Birmingham City School District's Student Support Services Division were to learn of Janice's death. Although there is little anyone can do to lessen your grief, we want you to know that you are very much in our prayers.

Sorry to hear of Janice's passing. She was truly a beacon of light to the children she serviced as a Guidance Counselor and the adults that had the pleasure in being in her presence. Our prayers of strength and comfort to the family.

I recall the first time Janice came to our class at Bethel. She was strikingly beautiful! But, week after week, we learned that her beauty was much deeper than that. Janice was a role model for every person she met. She had such a way to make you thankful, for the disappointments in life, pointing out, God is in charge. This lady made the most of what she had and spread her joy to all who were blessed to know her. Thank you God, for placing Janice with us.

My family will miss you Janice! Can't wait to see you again in heaven joining you to worship our Lord and Savior!

Janice was one of the sweetest people ive ever met. She loved life, the Lord, and her family and thats just what she was to all of us! May she rest in peace until we all have the luxury of seeing her again in Heaven!!
