Janie was my 1st Head Start co-worker and friend when I started there in 1985. We laughed and laughed so much together!! She was a wonderful person in every way and I will always miss her. I know that you are all mourning the huge loss of your wonderful Janie. She is in the arms of the Lord now and is once again strong and healthy. She loved you all so much and a part of her love, smile, laughter, and kindness lives on in each one of you!

Dear Castilleja Family,

My condolences to each of you. I taught preschool with Janie at Skagit Island Head Start in Sedro-Woolley. The kids loved her! She always had a smile for everyone. I will remember her infectious laugh, her love for preschoolers, how great she looked in the color yellow, her homemade salsa and how proud she was of her own children. May you find peace and comfort in the days ahead surrounded by friends and loved ones.

I was privilaged to work with Janie at Skagit Islands Head Start. Though she will be greatly missed, her smile will always be echoed in the children's lifes that she touched and changed for the better!

Castilleja Family,
My deepest sympathy to you. Janie and I worked together at Headstart in Sedro-Woolley and I will always remember her as someone with a kind heart and a twinkle in her eye, always looking out for what was best for children, and having a lot fun doing it. I really enjoyed working with her.

Castilleja family, We know this is a sad and trying time for you all but now Janie is not battling any longer and is at peace. Remember all the wonderful times shared and keep them close to your heart. They will help in the struggles of day to day. Please know we are thinking of you and have you in our prayers.
With heartfelt sympathy,
The Crider Family
