Janie Elaine Owen Hurst

Dear Owen Family, I was touched when Dad told me that Janie has passed. I remember her as a Luther Leaguer with me at Salem. We all looked up to her as such a leader and model of Kindness and strength. I remember thinking that she was the kind of person I wanted to be. My prayers are with you all. Her light will surely shine through all of you.

Please know that my heartfelt prayers are for you and your family Dr. Hurst. Janie was a special lady with a beautiful heart and I will truly miss her.

Sylvia and I are so saddened by your loss. She was a special friend to us both and will be missed. I know this is hard for you to deal with, but hope you find strength in your faith and family! She will be greatly missed.

Dr. Hurst, we are so sorry for your lost. Janie was a wonderful lady, beautiful inside as well as out. We're praying for your family.

My thoughts and prayers are with Hugh and family. Even tho we haven't kept in touch, I would think of Janie often. Her warm smile and gentle ways were always welcoming. I pray the good memories of such a wonderful lady will help ease the pain of her loss for Hugh, her children, and all who's lives she has touched so lovingly.

I am sorry for the loss of such a beautiful, sweet lady. Janie was a wonderful person to talk with.
