Dear Barb and Patty, We just heard about Jan's passing today and want to extend our deep sympathies to you and the entire family. Jan worked for me and for The Alliance for American Quilts for a number of years- always loyal and caring . Many conversations revolved around her family and precious Carly. We will miss her as both a friend and a colleague.Shelly and Kenny Zegart

Dear Patricia and Barbara, all those who knew Jan from her work with the Alliance for American Quilts send you our sympathy. I know how much family meant to Jan. So very sorry. Peace to you all.

I was sadden to hear of Jan's passing. We were sorority sisters and lived on the same floor in Unitas. Smart, witty and very talented. Always enjoyed being around her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Jan was such a special person-I sang with her in Voces Novae, and when she had to step down, I always looked for her at our concerts--what a wonderful, sweet smile she had. She was a gentle soul and delight to know. We will miss her so much.

Patty, I am so sorry to hear of Jan's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Joyce

I was so sorry to hear of Jan's passing. She and I sang together in the alto section of Voces Novae for several years. She had a quick wit, a lovely voice and a kind heart. My deepest sympathy to Jan's family.
