Dearest Janis,
Thank you for all the love you shared with us at Unity of Louisville. Thank you for sending us signs that life is eternal. Your sense of joy is forever. At yesterday’s church service at the PowerPoint seat where you served as volunteer, the PowerPoint wouldn’t shut down-- the music just kept on playing. Janis, I will always think of you as
my helper. I first met you when you
volunteered to come to my house to help
me with my knee surgery, you came a
stranger and left a friend. I loved our
times making cards together and I will
think of you whenever I do my crafts
now!! Thank you for your colorful life.

I wish I had gotten to know Janice better. She was certainly a light of Joy on the January cruise. Her spirit of strength and love are truly felt, and I did't have to know her well to get that.

I was acquainted with Janis through the Unity church. My condolences to her family and friends. She was a light and will be missed.

I did not really know Janis, but I do know all of those who helped her these past few months - which speaks volumes about the person she was. I know she will be sorely missed - especially by her Unity family. Blessings to all.

I was so fortunate to meet Janis at Unity after a co-worker of mine told me that he had found a purse that had been discarded in a field and returned it to her. He then said " I think she goes to the same church that you do! " Of course I soon found out who she was (who could miss her?) and she told me that the purse held a precious memento of her daughters and she was so grateful to have it back. I think about how we are all truly connected both here on earth and beyond. Janis will be missed...

Your new journey on your sparkling path will be filled with joy and wonder. I am sure you will enjoy each and every moment of your glorious freedom. I can see you dancing in the moonlight and twirling on the stars.
