To the family, May you cherish the good memories of Janis it was always a pleasure everytime we crossed paths. His pipe playing at several of the veteran's parade were always a welcome feature. I will miss seeing him around town. RIDE HEARTY MY FRIEND.

To the Vancans family, We were so sorry to hear of Jan's passing. We didn't know Jan very well, only that he was always very kind and a friendly neighbor. He would always say hello whenever you would run into him shopping out and about! We used to love seeing him pass by our home on his Harley with his white hair and beard blowing in the wind! We would like to express our sincere condolences to Jan's wife and daughter and the entire family. He was a very nice man and we will miss seeing...

He was such a force, but also incredibly kind. And so funny. Whenever I was at a family gathering, I always demanded a seat next to him. And the best hugs ever. I will miss him terribly. And my prayers and thoughts are with the family he absolutely adored.

Janis will be missed by myself and so many others. He was always a bright and happy conversation on Sunday morning; few words with deep wisdom! My thoughts and prayers are with Lauren, Will and his entire family. Rest in peace my friend.
