Not sure what to say?

I know this is late, but I just read about whatever happened to Jann, my friend from Santa Rosa High School, junior and senior years. We lost each other after graduation, as I went to college in the east and she stayed in the west. I am so sorry to know of her passing. Too late to reconnect. Amazing read about her life. I was looking through our high school yearbook and found us looking silly, so wanted to find her. Too late. Marcia

Jann remains in my heart as a vibrant, compassionate woman of the world who lived her values. She supported my work in writing Oregonian articles about it. She shared her joy at her 50th birthday party. She made a difference in the world. Thank you, Jann for being you.

I met Jann many years ago when we lived on 12th street in Beaverton. She was a bright spot in the neighborhood as well as Renee and Michelle. You all are special to me over the years, Thinking of you!

She was the world's best Gramma. She will always be in my heart and in my personality, as she helped shape the person I am today. I miss her so much but I know she's saying "just stop crying" in Heaven as she laughs at me! I'll see the world for you Gramma! I love you!

Jann lit up the lives of all of us who knew her, and memories of her will always bring a smile to my face. So sorry I can't attend the celebration in her honor, but I'll share memories of her with others all day.

Jann lived life LARGE and beyond that she helped others live larger lives because of her support. She gave that support in her loving concern about other people and in her skills of writing that went out to a large public through her newspaper columns, articles and her books.

She believed in the goodness of people and underscored that in her connections and writing.

Her column about my work with people in creating sacred space and altars in their homes and at work became a...

So sorry to see Jann's obit but so happy she had a fun, fulfulling, and interesting life. I was a fan of her Oregonian column. She mentioned a book which I bought and read that gave me a deeper understanding of my childhood. I am ever thankful to her for that. Shake it up in heaven, Jann!

For several years I've owned and lived in "Jann's houseboat" on Multnomah Channel. I am honored to be her friend, inspired by her energy and I'll light a fire tonight in the woodstove she loved.
