I am so very sad and sorry to hear about Jared. He was a such a neat kid and I have many memories of him and Drew growing up together. We are so very sorry for your loss.

Dear Carl, Joan, and family - I had the pleasure of being one of Jared's English teachers at Columbia High, and I was incredibly shocked to hear of his death. I am very sorry for your loss, and wanted you to know that Jared stayed in my memory all these years as a kind, funny, charming, and incredibly smart young man. Good luck in this difficult time, and please know that he made a positive impact on me.

I cannot express how deeply saddened I am for you to hear about this loss for your family. I remember Jared coming into Baya from time to time with Michelle when I worked there. I know the words of a former employee may not help much but I just wanted you all to know that my heart and prayers are extended to you all in this difficult time. Try not to ask why something so horrible could happen and try to find comfort in the fact that God knows all and He has big plans for Jared.
