Not sure what to say?

I have known Jared since elementary school at Tarkington. I still have pictures of the bakesale we had in his honor in Mrs. Libit's class. I remember his humor, determination, and outgoing self that he portrayed. When he was in the ICU at Lutheran during high school, I got the Chicago White Sox to donate some signed memorabilia to make the time easier for him. Jared will be missed, but never forgotten.

Jared was a strong and unique young man. He came into my job often and we attended class together at SIU. Although we rarely spoke he always had a kind word to say and exuded such confidance. Deepest sympathies.

I had RT 300 with Jared. We had multiple projects together and we discussed sports all the time. It saddens me deeply he has left us. I will keep his family, friends and all who loved him in my prayers. WE MISS YOU JARED!!

I'm deeply saddened by Jared's passing and I offer my deepest sympathy. I had the honor of having Jared as a student at SIUC last fall. He was a good student who was always engaged and demonstrated a passion for learning. While Jared was a wonderful student, he was an even better young man. He was always pleasant, courteous, and respectful which made him a joy to be around. I'm pleased to have had the opportunity to meet Jared and I will miss him very much.

I'm so sad to hear of Jared's passing. I was proud to have him as one of my students at Southern Illinois University. He was a good student, a nice guy, always smiling and had many friends. He told me he hoped to have his own radio sports talk show in Chicago someday. I'm glad he got to work in the SIU TV newsroom some and get in front of the cameras to practice being a TV sportscaster. Thank you for the time you shared him with us at SIU.

My condolences,

I am so very sorry for your loss. I was Jared's academic advisor at SIUC and he was always such a polite and kind person. Your family is in my prayers.

I was one of Jared's teachers at Tarkington. I will always remember his playful smile, his kind spirit and his ability to be flexible in challenging situations. I'll never forget the bake sale we had in his honor when he was in 5th grade. Your family is in my prayers. I hope the warm memories you have of Jared provide you comfort during these difficult days.

Both of my children, Jennifer & Bryan baby-sat for both Nathan and Jared and have fond thoughts of those days.
Every time someone calls me Juju -- be it a friend, family (especially my grandchildren) I remember Jared. He could not say Judy so called me Juju --- it now is used by many - thanks to Jared. His legacy will live on in many ways through all the people's lives that were touched by him. Oh yes also in my name.
Love to all of you! Bud joins me in sending you our good thoughts and...
