Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry I was in the hospital on the day you left us, my dear brother. I was quite out of it when i felt someone pinch my nose very hard, I opened my eyes and no one was there, I know you were very spiritual, Jerry. Was that you? Who really knows. I love you and bragged about my genius bro. I will miss you so much, but have your memories to hang on to. Until we meet again. Love, sis Rosie

I worked in the Baylor ophthalmology clinic for five years in the early to late 70s. It was crystal clear that Dr. Emery cared a great deal about his patients and he always treated them, as well as the clinic staff, with kindness and consideration. I had a great deal of respect for him.

A finer example of an individual truly does not exist. Uncle Jerry was remarkable, both for his exceptional contribution to mankind -living on in the many physicians he has trained to heal- as well as the indelible mark he has left on his loving family and friends. The sheer beauty of his soul will be left sprinkled among the many he has touched. I will be forever grateful to have had you as my uncle. Rest well, and peace be with you, dearest Uncle Jerry.

Our condolences. Janie and I, along with our children, Perrin, Shawn, and Andrew were neighbors many years ago in Houston. It was a great block and a source of many fond memories. Our thoughts are with the family.

My Condolence to the family. I was a
classmate of Jared's sister Rose.

I remember my Uncle as a very kind and gentle soul.

Waterbury Vermont's small high school graduated less than
50 students in 1958. Among us a quiet, cheerful friend and our class valedictorian, Jerry Emery, who went on to live a remarkable, fulfilling life. We will miss him and seeing him at our class reunions.

It is a comforting memory to have a photo of Jerry and Juliet at
our 50th reunion in 2008.

Our sincere sympathy to Juliet and the family, Class of '58

My Little Brother, Jerry,
You weren't supposed to go before me !

I am comforted by sweet memories of us as children, walking the fields and crossing the brooks together, enjoying nature. In the Spring, you picked wild strawberries "for Mama" and presented them to her on our return. They were crushed in your tiny hand, but she accepted them as if they were gold.
I have so many precious memories of you, and I am truly blessed to have been your sister.
We will...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
