I still remember this precious young man that I taught many years ago. He had the most beautiful smile and I was so blessed to have gotten to know Jared. Thinking of the family today and this precious soul. God bless.

So thankful I got to have Jared in my life, even if it was for such a short amount of time. He played such a big role in my life during high school. He taught me so much about life and he always looked out for me like I was his sister. He was the guy I could count on if I needed anything. My deepest sympathy to the entire family. Barbara and Josh I have thought about all three of you many times over the last few years. I so enjoyed getting to know the three of you as not just a teacher but as a family. Barbara, as a mother my heart breaks for you. I just feel so blessed to have gotten to know Jared during his time at Byrnes. What an infectious smile and a free spirit! Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

my deepest sympathy goes to the family . I have such fond memories of Jared. Never a dull moment with him around. Always a smile and a huge hug to give . We will miss him greatly . My boys Ryan and Corey Mathis will always have a void in there life without Jared... Heaven has gained a great young man .You will be greatly Misssed ..
