Not sure what to say?

Jerod, you never looked back knowing that you might not return. Miss you buddy.

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Southworth Family know that we recently sent Care Packages to American troops in the war zones. Each box carried a dedication sheet that includes the name, service information and a photo of your loved one. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. ...

It has truly been my honor to sign Jared's guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that Jared will always be remembered in my home.

Happy Memorial Day to Jared and his family. I didn't know jared long, but he was a hell of a guy, and I woke up this morning thinking about him. We went to an army school together in 2008 and he tried to get me to deploy to Afghanistan with his unit, but I went with a different one. I got to Afghanistan on Feb 3rd, and found out he had been killed when I met someone from his unit on Feb 10th. Rest in Peace, Jared.

Chris
