Dear Tim and Trish: I was shocked to hear about Jared's untimely departure. We send you our most sincere condolences. We have you in our prayers and from a distance send you comfort in these difficult times. May Jared's soul rest in peace, and may you find a space to believe in God's will in what is otherwise not understandable.

I am blessed to hold a piece of Jared's soul within me. He touched my heart and I will never ever forget his loving smile. He will forever be a member of our family, and memories. He made us all laugh. Jared, I miss and think of you all around me.

I am stunned by your loss and can imagine your sorrow. While I didn't know Jarred well, I know you,his parents well and you both of huge hearts, and kindness, and love life. How could he not have had that too?

What an amazing and wonderful celebration we had of Jared's life on Saturday. Our collective families thank you all for your love and support. It has helped us so much through this very difficult time.

I have been profoundly saddened since hearing of your loss almost a week ago. Even so, I wasn't ready for the tears that came with listening each time a friend and family member shared memories and lessons learned from Jared at his memorial celebration today. It is clear there are many on whom he made a lifelong impression who are also grieving Jared's passing. As would be expected for someone described by a few as the "life of the party", there were a few good laughs as well....
