Ruth We were very sad about Jarrett. I just learned about it this afternoon. Im so sorry to have missed his service and seeing you. Tony is on hospice now and will be joining Jarret to play music somewhere in the cosmos. Id love to see you and share pictures of old ER days. We all loved those times when Jarret was our leader. We have fond memories of thanksgivings together at your house and telluride blues festivals. Please let me know how you are. Val and I would love to see you and remember...

So sorry to learn about Jarrett's death. He was a teacher, a hero, a companion, a leader, and a great musician. We spent many hours and days living joyous adventures together. My love to Ruth and my deepest thanks for your love, and care, and friendship.

Ruth, we were saddened to hear of the passing of Jarrett. What a wonderful person who loved music and always was positive and supportive.
